Representative Phil Plummer

Montgomery County, Ohio

Representative Phil Plummer is currently serving his first term in the Ohio State House. He represents the 40th House District, which includes portions of Montgomery County. Before joining the legislature, he served as Sheriff of Montgomery County, a post he assumed after a long and distinguished tenure in the sheriff’s office. Starting as a corrections officer, Plummer rose through the ranks in various roles, from SWAT TEAM Commander to head of human resources and labor relations. Rep. Plummer serves as Vice Chair of the Criminal Justice Committee, where he has already sponsored second chance reform legislation.
