JAN fully funded FAMM’s lobby day in Pennsylvania in support of probation reform in the Commonwealth.  Advocates and lawmakers, including the states bipartisan bill sponsors, gathered at the states capitol to rally for the needed changes to the states probation system. The speaking program was focused on system-involved people and legislators, and featured remarks from Senators Camera Bartolotta and Anthony Williams and Representatives Sheryl Delozier, Jordan Harris, and Mike Jones. Organizations from across the political spectrum, including the ACLU, Americans for Prospertity, the Commonwealth Foundation, REFORM Alliance, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce, the American Conservative Union, attended the rally and met with lawmakers and media to make the case for probation reform. JAN also commissioned a poll released in conjunction with the event, showing broad support for probation reform, occupational licensing reform, and better reentry support.
