Stephanie Groen

Director of State-Federal Affairs, Office of the Governor, Iowa

Stephanie Groen currently serves as Governor Kim Reynolds's Director of State-Federal Relations, a job she has held since Governor Reynolds was sworn into office in May of 2017. Prior to that she served as the Acting Director and Deputy Director for Governor Terry Branstad, now Ambassador to China. She started her tenure in Washington, DC in the political department at the Republican National Committee. A native of West Des Moines, Iowa, she is an avid defender of Iowa's first in the nation caucus status as well as a proud alumni of Baylor University.
